NFT DEB Generative Dimensions
The 1st European generative NFT
Hackaton and Conference
2nd annual edition
24-26 November 2022
MODEM Debrecen + Metaverse
The next edition of the NFT DEB Generative Dimensions is a response to the "meta-crisis," which manifests in climate, politics, environment, and value emergencies. Our challenges are interconnected, and we must connect in new ways to wrestle with the most urgent problems of our times. NFT DEB is forming a community of practice, exploring new patterns of living within nature and technology. We investigate what appears by linking people, projects, networks, and ideas.
The emergence of a more conscious society has already begun. We connect transformative and inspirational innovators, scientists, and creatives with people across the globe. We spotlight the most daring pathfinders and visionaries using systems thinking, driving social renewal and cultural transformation toward a more equitable future.
The NFT DEB is founded and curated by curator Viola Lukács and digital artist Péter Weiler.

RED DAY
Red Day is to connect our community and recognize water emergencies onsite. We dedicate the first day to visiting the Hortobagy Natural Reserve and learning about the circle of water from the natural water reserve to the city of Debrecen. Natural water scarcity is an urgent problem on every continent, with poorer communities most badly affected. To build resilience against climate change and to serve a growing population and industry, an integrated and inclusive method is needed to manage this finite resource.
2 pm
Becoming Water, a participative, somatic performance lead by artist and educator Judit Navratil at the MODEM, Debrecen, Baltazár Dezső tér 1.
6 pm

Cities should provide agency to citizens through participatory democracy and use the city data to tackle our urgent environmental and social challenges: climate, sustainable mobility, affordable housing, healthcare, and education. Francesca Bria suggests starting with a network of cities promoting ambitious policies to take back the democratic governance of digital technology and data sovereignty from corporations.
